two years....wow.
After working what seemed like ALL FREAKIN' DAY (10:15am-5:45pm), I grab dinner with mom and headed home for a bit. Then I got myself done up and headed out to Moxies to meet up with some friends. One of my good friends from high school, Candice, was celebrating her second anniversary with her guy, Ryan. So sweet. I can't believe they've been together for two years though. I mean, I have never had a relationship with a guy last that long. It amazes me. One day...one day I'll be in their shoes. Sigh.
The happy couple. Aww.
It was a fun night though. I had a pear cider (of course), and after others finished their dinner and dessert (ahem...Katya), we went for a nice walk over to Ryan's place. Stopped and got snacks and a movie along the way. We rented "Girl Next Door." Now wait, before you go and get all judgemental on us - it was actually a pretty funny movie! We were pleasantly surprised to say the least! Totally a movie for high school boys (or men who think they're still high school boys, hahaha), but entertaining for all.
Me and Katya and the dessert. Hahaha.
The dessert. I believe it was called a Strawberry Romanoff.
Ok. So here's my rant for the night: Katya and I (who are of course non-drivers) called a taxi to take us home. We dropped Katya off first, and then kept going to my house. We got there and it was $9.90. I had no cash on me, and had planned on just using my Visa. WELL. The driver gave me such attitude for that! I was shocked! IF YOU DON'T WANT TO TAKE CREDIT CARDS, THEN POST A SIGN THAT SAYS YOU DON'T!!! Don't get all flustered and frustrated with the customer. Holy mother! I even had to fill out the price part...so I have him a $1.10 tip, and made it an even $11. Bloody hell he didn't deserve that much! Omg. So mad. ARGH.
Okay. Rant over.
Now I'm back home...in my pj's, and almost ready for bed. Such a lovely night. Nothing like hanging out with friends on a Saturday night....can't beat that. As Katya says, "priceless."
