i can't believe it's july. the year is half over. omg.

"Soul mate." Two little words. One big concept. A belief that someone, somewhere, is holding the key to your hert and your dream house. All you have to do is find them. So where is this person? And if you love someone and it didn't work out, does that mean they weren't your soul mate?

Sigh. Just something to ponder over. So the past week has been fun. I went over to my aunt & uncle's house in N.Van on Tuesday with Katya. We had quite the girlie evening! Heehee. After catching the bus, skytrain and seabus over, and stopping for pizza and Uncle Fatih's (best cheap pizza ever...mmmm!)...we arrived at Lonsdale Quay. We stopped to say hi to Jen's mom and looked at a few stores. Good times, haha. Stopped at Safeway to buy some food for dinner (chicken, strawberries, angel food cake, whip cream, peaches, pineapple juice, coconut juice) and I bought hair dye, shampoo and conditioner, yes - I have slightly red hair right now. Ooh la la! Then we looked at "Vivid" (a cute clothing store) and walked up to the house. OMG, we were soooo hot. It was quite the humid day too. Ugh. We just felt nasty! Anyway, we had a chicken stirfry for dinner and then I dyed my hair and then dessert while watching S.W.A.T. (the movie). We even put facial masks on and did a lil' tradition that we've had for awhile. Ahem. Hahaha. (only K knows what I'm talking about! And no sickos - nothing like THAT!). Oh yeah! and we had some interesting Pina Colada-like drinks too. We must work on those...lol. Then, it was off to bed!

Ok. Something we noticed in N.Van was...HOT MEN. omg. They're EVERYwhere! I think the hottest was at Safeway. We actually stopped walking/talking to look at him. We went out of our way to watch him. Yes: we briefly stalked him. And then there was the cute Safeway worker...mmm. Perhaps a bit young for us, but eh: still yummmy :P Heehee. Oh! And the guy on the bus! Wow. H-O-T. Humina humina. (Ok, I need some - give me a break! lol.)

Back to my lil' update though. We headed back home on Wednesday, since I had to work that night. I also worked Thursday night and then my mom drove me out. Wow - the cats were sooo happy to see me (and get fed). Haha. It was weird being in the house all along...so quiet and empty. I enjoyed myself though. Watched some TV, read a book. Good times.

Friday: aka Canada Day. Well, not quite the day I'd imagined it would be. But turned out alright in the end. The JHSS girls (Candice, Katya and Jenny) came to the house for a few hours that afternoon. It was quite the Sex & the City time! We each had a martini and talked about, what else? Sex. (and everything that comes along with it). It was fun. The girls had to take off just before dinnertime though, so I was left alone again. Boo :( I ended up spending the evening by myself, watching Friends and ironically, Sex & the City. Then I headed over to Michelle and Jaclyn's house for a drink after a BBQ their parents had had. A nice end to a decent day!

Yesterday and today have basically consisted of me working. Woo! Lol. HELLO FRAPPUCINOS! AHHH! We actually ran out of ice yesterday. Someone had retardly turned OFF the ice maching (OMFG), so we had to go out and BUY ICE! So bad. Oyvey.

Well, I'm off to watch a movie that I rented last night, "Coffee and Cigarettes," and I might be meeting up with Alison a bit later.
